It is very important to find a real state agent who is not only able to provide excellent service, but whose personality you enjoy. Selling your home is a process, and a lot of times an emotional one, too. I love working with sellers, and providing both real estate and emotional support. During our first meeting we’ll address your motivation for selling, any deadlines we are working against, then we will establish a timeline and a marketing plan.

For a standard residential listing, realtors rely on a comparative market analysis to determine a competitive listing price. Your home’s features, size, location, as well as recent sales and market demand will be taken into account to determining your home’s worth.

Those who want to sell their home for top dollar will easily understand the importance of making your property spotless. At times little touch-ups will suffice to bring up the shine of a home. Others times, larger improvements will be worth it to maximize your return. I have an extensive network of vendors who can assist with improvements, staging, photography. With me, your home will be impeccable the moment it reaches the market.

By now you should know what the plan and timeline for selling your home are, and most details are covered in the listing agreement you have signed with your realtor. Depending on how the listing performs, the strategy may change (i.e. added marketing, price reduction), always with your approval.

The marketing plan has been determined at the beginning of your work with your realtor. For a typical single family home listing, I use a combination of open houses, door-knocking with high quality marketing materials, social media outreach, as well as promotion of the property to my industry connections. One thing I have learned in my years in real estate, if your home does not sell, first check the price and ensure it is in line with the market.

The number one benefit of having a real estate agent is their negotiation skills. I will ensure you understand all terms, and contingencies, and details of buyer’s financing, and find leverage points in their offer that would allow us to negotiate the best deal possible for you. My goal is to have a happy client at the end of a sale.

You sold your home! The escrow process is tedious (unless is chaotic which is no bueno!), and you will be overwhelmed by the amount of paperwork you need to fill out and sign, but you made it. I will be in constant contact with the buyer’s agent to ensure all disclosures are provided, requirements are met, inspections are performed, contingencies removed, and, most importantly, that financing is approved on time.
